Animal Research Project- Students were assigned an animal (see below). Each student read a book on Epic! related to their animal's habitat and watched a video also related to their animal's habitat. The end product was a visual presentation of a habitat their animal could live in vs a habitat their animal could not live in. (John- Fox, Aila- Opossum, Max- Goose, Kayla- Squirrel, Silas- Raccoon)

Handwriting Without Tears
Abiotic vs Biotic Factors- We went on an observation walk to observe the environment outside of school. The students were told to yell out whatever they observed and I jotted down as we walked. Once inside, the observations were written on notecards. The students were split into two groups and told to organize the cards into two categories, with no background knowledge as to what those categories should be.
